The New Bigger MINI Countryman.

The new MINI Countryman

Our boldest, most spacious model to date, the new MINI Countryman adds new dimensions in fleet technology and comfort. Packed with the latest technology, MINI Navigation, MINI Connected and Cruise Control are standard across the range. New driver assistance features such as Forward Collision Warning and Emergency Call make negotiating your commute safer than ever. What’s more, our first true Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) boasts optional ALL4 all-wheel drive so the driver stays in control regardless of the conditions.

The new MINI Countryman is 20cm longer than the outgoing model, allowing it to deliver 450 litres of boot space (or 9 regular sized bags). If you need to pack more in, the rear seats can be adjusted to allow for more passenger legroom or more boot space. If it’s all about the boot space, the rear seats fold 40/20/40 to enable easier loading of tricky items, increasing the capacity to 1,390 litres. The Comfort Access option means you can access this space more easily, even if you’ve got your hands full, giving you no-fuss boot opening with the wave of your foot.

As well as being able to pack more inside the car, the new MINI Countryman allows you to get out more, while staying safe too. With optional ALL4 all-wheel drive, you’ll be able to power off road, as well as handling trickier conditions on the road with ease.

Staying connected to the road and your life outside the car remains a priority for fleet drivers. MINI Connected services keeps drivers connected to their businesses, with the ability to sync contacts, emails and calendar entries with their MINI. An optional 8.8” touchscreen display delivers relevant information to your fingertips while Journey Mate intelligent route planner provides information on traffic, weather, parking and more aspects that could affect your journey. Helping you to stay safe, Driving Assistant minimises the risk of road collisions, such as Forward Collision Warning, City Collision Mitigation and more.

Available to order now, the new MINI Countryman Plug-in Hybrid offers a clever combination of 3-cylinder petrol engine and electric motor to deliver the best of both worlds. CO2 emissions are from only 49 g/km, reducing running costs for both driver and business, while the car is able to drive using electric power only for up to 26 miles.

With a battery that can be charged via the supplied cable from 0-100% in a little under 3.5hrs, or charged while on the road using the energy produced from the petrol engine, owning a Plug-in Hybrid has never been more convenient. A gold MINI Plug-in Hybrid logo on the side scuttles and at the rear sets it apart from the rest of the MINI range. The new MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid is also eligible for a £2,500 government grant*.

Charge your MINI while you sleep. Just plug it into any power socket at home with the standard charging cable that comes with your MINI. Charging time varies between a minimum of two and a maximum of eight hours, depending on the provided voltage of your household power grid and battery levels. While you’re on the road, you can charge your MINI using public facilities with the MINI public charging cable. This cable is available as a MINI original accessory through your MINI Centre.

The new MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 features three driving modes to best suit the driver and journey type. The default setting, Auto eDrive, determines the most efficient combination of electric motor and petrol engine, while Max eDrive mode turns off the petrol engine completely to enable up to 26 fuel-free miles. Lastly, Save Battery mode uses the petrol engine to charge the battery, so you can save the electric power for when you need it most.

Figures are obtained in a standardised test cycle using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. They are intended for comparisons between vehicles and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. The new MINI Cooper S E ALL4 Countryman is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that requires mains electricity for charging.
